Thursday means No more class this Week!

I have terrible luck with back packs. Every one I have owned since grade school has turned into a mangled and torn sack. The intended use of holding my things becomes impossible and I spend 40 bucks on a new one. Rinse and repeat. This year I found a decent deal, available today, for a 10 dollar back pack, plus shipping. You can always use another back pack!

Amazon still has a large amount of products on sale, with the best deals being Jewelry and Headphones

50% off some $120 headphones, and they look pretty solid, though I don't see me carrying them in my pocket.

Other deals that struck my interest, but sadly I can't order due to last weeks spending spree include:

Four Quality Pillows for 35 bucks, normally 100
Free iPod Case after Rebate
Over 600 items Under $10 at Current

There's still plenty of time do shop for people but why wait? I don't advocate crazy consumerism to anyone, but there are certainly people in your life that you should care about them enough to get them what they need. In the end, it shouldn't be the item itself, but knowing that a person will honestly appreciate what you are doing for them. Price tags never outweigh love.

Cyber Monday? More Like Cyber Week

Its been a busy day, but I finally got around to putting my face in front of a fresh blog screen! I was kinda upset I didnt completely get to finish renovating the page, so please excuse the mess.
While I love saving my money, I also love spending it almost as much so when I saw the insane amount of deals this Monday had, I had to go a bit over budget for the month.

But how often do you get 895 dollar watches for 100 bucks?

Not the prettiest, but the diamond inset was flashy enough for me. And if I never wear it, can anyone say resale value? Today was the day of deals, apparently, and for anyone slow to shop, don't delay, the prices are only going to go up after this.

Greed for myself wasn't the only thing I accomplished today however, and after buying myself some expensive cologne, a new winter jacket, that watch, and assorted clothing accessories, I actually earned myself some money back through a website I use (Ebates for reference).

Some stores I really suggest checking out, as the deals wind down:

  • Amazon- You can get anything here, and they change the sales up all the time
  • OverStock - For everything you didn't get at Amazon, mostly new stuff and great electronics
  • DesignbyHumans - T-shirts, so maybe not the classiest thing to go with my watch but I really dig them
  • FragrenceNet - For some great deals on cologne and perfumes
Did you guys get anything worth mentioning? Do you plan on it? I'd love to hear about it

Dead in Some Places, but Moving on!

So returning to the blogosphere, I found my original page in disarray, as updates had left its gadgets and html code behind. Trust me, I tried to recycle that last piece of garbage, but it wasn't worth it anyway.

These days though I have been keeping my eye open for sales and deals and coupons, so maybe its worth sharing what I find with the world in a format people can enjoy.

A great hobby is doing a little mercantile work in your free time for your pocket. If I can buy an iPad on sale and sell it on craigslist or ebay for 300, thats a pretty good deal in my book. Buy a snow blower or generator in the Summer and keep your eyes open for the first big snowstorm in your area, you might make a buck.

There's a million ways on the internet to save money, and I will try and help you sift through the garbage to get to the real deals! In the mean time, enjoy some music while I work on some posts.
